Theosophy

E-mail Print PDF

Τheosophy is the source and synthesis of ancient wisdom. It exists from time immemorial and expresses the accumulated wisdom of all Ages. It is the source of religions, metaphysical teachings, letters and art, of education and civilization but primarily of mystic tradition. It deals with the esoteric science which interpretes the synthesis of the Universe and the Laws governing it. It is called "Wisdom- Religion" and is the cornerstone of metaphysical knowledge-wisdom and mystic transcendence.

««If you speak of THEOSOPHY, I answer that, as it has existed eternally throughout the endless cycles upon cycles of the Past, so it will ever exist throughout the infinitudes of the Future, because Theosophy is synonymous with EVERLASTING TRUTH." .» (Key, 304)

"Theosophy is the most serious movement of this age" (Key, 271)

"... It is the substratum and basis of all worldreligions and philosophies, taught and practiced by a few elect ever since man became a thinking being. In its practical bearing, Theosophy is purely divine ethics." (Theos.Glos.,p.328)

"Theosophy is not a religion...since it is the essence of all religion and of absolute truth, a drop of which only underlies every creed." (Key, 58)
